1. The first step is to turn on the printer and lift the scanner cover, as that's where you'll access the ink cartridges.
2. When the printer carriage has stopped, lift the lid of the cartridge slot you're going to replace and push it back to remove it.
3. Now, take the new cartridge out of its packaging, remove the protective plastic tape, and place it into the designated slot.
4. You're almost done. Simply lower the lid of the cartridge slot you replaced, put the scanner cover back in its initial position, and you're good to go.
